1911 80 frame black. The 7075 heat-treated aluminum used in the.45 ACP Government Tactical 1911 80% Frame is CNC-machined.
This tactical frame blank, which has an anodized black finish, is ideal for creating your own, ultra-light 1911 from the ground up.
This frame weights about 60% less than a 1911 original since it is made of aluminum instead of steel. It is ideal for your project because it can still use 1911 parts that are standard (mil-spec).

This was my second .45 ACP build using the Stealth Arms Jig, and even though I took my time, the lower took only about 2 hours to complete. I used painters tape to protect the lower finish, and it remained perfect. The parts kit I used was from Sarco, with an unmarked USGI-type slide. The major fitting needed was with the barrel lug and the barrel bushing. I used a copy of the War Department 1942 Armorer’s Guide, as well as YouTube tutorials for advice. The pistol functions flawlessly, and looks good.

Nicely machined frame. Finishing is made easy without a mill when using the Stealth phantom jig. Very little fitting when carefully selecting parts to finish your build. I only wish they made a compact Officer frame.

The 80 percent frame was beautiful and easy to finish using the phantom jig. All 70 series parts fit with little to no fitting. Just when i get started they no longer have them in stock. Bummer!!!

Comes out beautifully with the phantom jig. Also this frame only take standard barrels out the box. It will not accept a ramped barrel.

Frame came in a nice foam padded box.. The anodizing is much tougher than I expected it to be.. The machining that was done is very nice. I don’t see how you could make a better one.
